Great pub, out of its league in Prescot, staff are great door men are top, I'd keep your party / posse close as its a regular pub for locals this pub is a gem. In a desert like I was surprised it was there, actually considering going back, pink gin hate the stuff but was served with fresh strawberry 8ths(a quarter of a quarter very thin great for a drink)Great atmosphere, average price on drinks will have to go again very rare I visit twice like a bear to its own reproduction in the wild I am never go where I've laid an ollie or two twice but this place honestly its like the hilton exec of Prescot.
Absolutely cracking pub, as much Coffee as you want for just over a 1. Pints from 2 and an unbelievable Big Breakfast for a 5. Sat in a booth for a few hours reading the paper & placing a few bets on the 3pm footy. Couldn't get any better for a Saturday morning.
The watch maker...I liked the way the pub is done inside giving you clues on the history of the town. As usual, a great range of beer on tap.... cheap and cheerful.
