Very bad experience with the reception staff. I called the day before for registration information and they did not mention all the requirements, so now I have to return back to fill the missing information, on the mean time the waiting list is two weeks, all this time to be seen by a gp!!!
My husband and I have been with this surgery just over two years now since having moved into the area. In that time both of us have always found all of the staff and doctors to be extremely helpful and efficient at their jobs. Today I was seen by a junior doctor who was excellent, was able to see beyond the initial problem I presented him with and gave me a number of options to work with towards better health. I was very impressed and grateful! I wish this young doctor every success and believe he has the capacity to be an excellent doctor! This practice deserves far more positive credit than it is getting! I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a new surgery!
Great when you can get an appointment but meant to open at 8 and at 8.30 the phone line is still saying sorry for being closed!
Everyone is always very helpful. Whilst pre-bookable appointments are a week to 2 weeks in the future (like most gp's at present) there are on the day appointments and you are offered GP extra (unlike some other surgerys). I have only met 1 gp that I was not keen on but the rest seem lovely.
Getting an appointment is a nightmare. I waited weeks to get an appointment. I work a 9-5 weekday job so had to book a day off to get an appointment. Only to be called on the day of appointment to be told the doctor can't make it because she's ill. They did manage to give me another appointment later in the day but it's not very nice to have to rearrange your entire day and lose a day's pay just to see a doctor. I'm sure the surgery is doing the best they can but I'm currently not pleased with the experiences I've had.
