This is my first pregnancy and Libby (maternity) made me feel very comfortable during my scan. She explained what we could see on the screen and what she was trying to look for. Fantastic patient care.
picked up a good read from whsmith. diary of a minecraft zombie was very engaging while i waited for my nans kidney stone to be removed and for her thrush to clear up. it looked like a cottage pie down there!
My Mum is 97 and was admitted just after Christmas. She was discharged last Friday 11th January. From the start to the end her care was wonderful in a clean and warm hospital. The staff were lovely and obviously very competent as she's now at home. She had been in another hospital a month earlier which quite frankly was the opposite. The restaurant on level 5 does great chips!
What an amazing service the ambulatory care unit is (GPAU). Within 24 hours I have had a chest x-ray, CT scan, bloods and review by medical registrars and ref to the appropriate service for ongoing care. Yes you wait, yes it can feel frustrating but where else but our wonderful NHS and this wonderful service would you get this, so quick and for free! All staff where polite, friendly and approachable! Amazing!
I couldn't rate this hospital highly enough. All the staff on ward 2A were excellent as were all other staff I came across. Despite the way that some patients treat and abuse them they continue to do a fabulous job.
